The staff of the Tomsk clinic "SibMedCenter" was trained in the course of cardiopulmonary resuscitation
On the 19th of December seven employees of the Tomsk Multidisciplinary Clinic "SibMedCenter" were trained at the Arctic Medical Training Center at the BLS course (basic life support) using an automatic external defibrillator.
"The administrators, nurses and doctors took the course. After training, a person feels much more confident in cases where assistance is needed. Understanding of the person himself is completely different from the scenario of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, it is a separate skill that needs to be learned in order to act clearly in an emergency, not to get lost and to make mistakes that can lead to irreversible consequences, " said Olga Antipova SibMedCenter head doctor.
Olga Antipova also noted that the SibMedCenter clinic has an automatic external defibrillator; with its help, each clinic employee will be able to help the patient immediately.
