For three days, certified Arctic Medical Training instructors conducted two courses: basic life support (BLS) and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); rendering first aid to the injured persons at the pre-hospital stage, aimed at stabilizing the condition of the injured victim and preparing for medical evacuation. Courses are conducted in the form of practical training on manikin simulators.
AMT Center was established to train medical and non-medical personnel for work in the Arctic and offshore extraction. Arctic Medical Training trains employees the first aid, teamwork, basic resuscitation and automatic external defibrillation, an expanded protocol for maintaining cardiac activity, and an injured person relief protocol at the prehospital stage. The company is the only accredited training center in Russia according to the international standards of the American Heart Association and International Trauma Life Support with the right to issue ITLS, ACLS certificates of international standard. A team of instructors trained in Norway and Poland is ready to conduct the courses independently in accordance with international standards in Russia and abroad.
