Olga Kobyakova, Rector of Siberian State Medical University , Sergey Antipov , President of the Institute of Remote Health Care (RF), and Francesco Amenta, dean of the medical and pharmacological school of the University of Camerino (Italy), signed memorandum of understanding about telemedicine educational program on Wednesday, September 12, in Tomsk.
"The agreement is the next step of development of the Center for studying the problems of remote health care, which we opened about a year ago together with CCM. An educational course on industrial hygiene has been prepared this year, it will be launched in October, this module is unique for Russia. Today a foreign partner joined our work , "said Olga Kobyakova.
The cooperation agreement has been signed for three years. The parties are planning to develop joint research and educational projects in the field of telemedicine and telepharmacy – the exchange of personnel and scientific materials, student internships and visits, educational and scientific programs, joint conferences.
"I hope for mutually beneficial integration and cooperation. We are introducing new technologies, we have established a telemedicine center. We have several telemedicine and telepharmacy programs , one of them is the only one in Europe, " commented the memorandum Francesco Amenta .
The memorandum was signed as part of the work of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Remote Healthcare – A Modern Solution to the Problem", which takes place in Tomsk on September 12-14.
