The Fifth European Congress on e-cardiology and e-health (eCardiology-eHealth2018) was held in Moscow, it was attended by the IT director of the group of companies "Center of Corporate Medicine " ("ССМ") Ilya Polyakov, as well as the director of the association "Institute for Remote Healthcare" ( Inotzdrav ) Andrey Karpov.
The congress, first held in Russia, was attended by about 800 specialists from 19 countries of the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, China and Switzerland. Professionals from various fields took part in the discussions: physicians, engineers, mathematicians, as well as IT specialists.
A specialized exhibition of innovative creations in the field of cardiology of leading Russian and foreign manufacturers also worked.
"All the works and reports presented at the congress mainly concerned the provision of medical care to people living in small remote settlements. We understood that industrial medicine has been little studied, and very few people deal with this issue in Europe. "CCM" already has knowledge and experience in this field, as well as experience in using telemedicine in industrial health care. Therefore, taking into account the dynamics of the company's development and the expansion of its activities outside Russia, we hope to become one of the leaders in this area soon, "said Ilya Polyakov, IT-director of ССМ.
We will add that the organizers of the congress were the founder and chairman of the European Congress on E-cardiology and E-Health, a researcher at the University of Bern (Switzerland), and head of the Department of Preventive and Acute Cardiology at the Sechenov University Hugo Saner and co-chairman of the Congress, director of the Institute of Personalized Medicine of Sechenov University, professor Philip Kopylov.
