The result of the two-day conference was the signing of an agreement between the Center for Corporate Medicine and IRHC to open a branch of the Scottish Institute of Remote Healthcare in Russia with the goal of developing and implementing international standards of health care for people living and working in remote regions.
Under the agreement with the Norwegian SAFER Foundation, the Center for Corporate Medicine received the exclusive right to use original training programs for the training of medical specialists in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. Besides, CCM together with UTair-Helicopter Services JSC, plans to create an air ambulance service for industrial enterprises operating in remote, inaccessible regions with difficult climatic conditions.
