On April 15, CCM participated in the panel discussion "Entry of Russian companies to the Vietnamese market: challenges and opportunities" organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Russian-Vietnamese Business Council.
The event was attended by representatives of the Department of multilateral economic cooperation and special projects of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Chairman of the Russian-Vietnamese Business Council, the Russian Trade Representative to Vietnam, the head of the Russian Export Center, and representatives of the business.
Chairman of the Russian-Vietnamese Business Council Andrian Sinebok reported on the project of the Russian-Vietnamese Industrial Park in Vietnam and invited Russian companies to take part in this project.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development spoke about the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries, their development, and instruments to support Russian companies operating in the Vietnamese market.
"In our report, we presented our experience in Vietnam. We have been working there since 2016, and during this time we have completed 5 offshore projects, opened a clinic at an oil refinery, a first aid clinic at The Grand - Ho Tram resort complex, and 2 company offices - in Vung Tau and Hanoi. Now we are building a first-aid clinic In Vung Tau.
We provide first aid courses according to international standards BLS and ITLS, which have already been attended by over three hundred Vietnamese medical workers. Before the pandemic our projects were attended by Russian medical personnel," - said Dmitry Shinkarenko.
The panel discussion participants outlined the main problems that hinder the further development of Russian business in Vietnam. In response, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Export Center, and other structures offered mechanisms of possible support to the business.
