"Arctic Medical Training" trained employees of the leading company of Kazakhstan in the field of mining and natural resource development
"We tried to invite as many people from the mines to Pavlodar as possible, the skills they will receive are extremely necessary not only in production but also in everyday life," said Olga Hoffman, leading engineer of the HSSE department.

BLS course "Basic life support with the use of automatic external defibrillators" was held during a week at the training center of the company "Aluminum of Kazakhstan". A master class on first aid to victims of sudden cardiac arrest and loss of consciousness was attended by more than a hundred employees of the Eurasian Group.

"The course provides a large number of practical skills," said Arman Amanbaev, head of CCM branch in Kazakhstan. The practical skill is the weakest element in most cases when it is necessary to provide a person the first aid. Some people are afraid to approach the victim, others are not afraid, but their actions can aggravate the situation. "

According to Amanbayev, about 80% of trainings consist of practical skills, working out to the automatism of the international algorithm of actions, which has been recommended since 2015 by the European Association and adopted in Russia and Kazakhstan. At the end of the course, the company's employees passed the exam, applying the acquired skills to restore the airway, the use of compact defibrillators and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
