Occupational Hygiene
Our Occupational Hygiene Laboratory specializes in risk assessment and characterization of environmental and occupational health and safety hazards at workplace. The laboratory has an unrivalled reputation for delivering expert services according to the best world practice to various industries: from oil-and-gas and mining companies to healthcare organizations.
Our team of health & safety specialists performs the following:
1.
1.
Qualitative Occupational Hygiene Assessment – evaluation of potential exposure of an employee to the chemicals, physical, and/or biological agents at workplace.
2.
2.
Preparation of Air monitoring program (AMP) in compliance with ACGIH standards, NIOSH, OSHA and HSE methods for each similar exposure group (SEG's) – Groups of workers with the same general exposure profile for the agent(s) are studied based on similarity and frequency of their tasks, used materials, running processes, and controls taken in place.
3.
3.
Quantitative Occupational Hygiene Assessment – Evaluation of actual personal workplace exposure to chemical, physical, and/or biological agents using accredited numerical and mathematical analysis.
4.
4.
From results of Quantitative Assessment (actual personal exposure to concentrations in compliance with ACGIH TLV's) we can conclude which Biological Exposure Indices (ACGIH BEI's) will be used in occupational medical examination for health surveillance.

The Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) and Biological Exposure Indices (BEIs) developed by American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) are used as guidelines to assist in the control of health.
5.
5.
We provide the recommendations for the individual and collective protective equipment and control systems designed to eliminate or reduce the exposure.
