On the 10th of March CCM opened a medical simulation training center in St. Petersburg.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the First St. Petersburg State Medical University, Federal Medicine and Biology Agency, partners and clients of CCM Group, whose offices are located in St. Petersburg.

The invited partners were able to see the capabilities of the training center and equipment and hear about the international courses BLS, ACLS, ITLS, and REM to be held at the training center.

It is already the third such training center of CCM in Russia. Such centers were opened in Tomsk and Moscow before.

The Center is equipped with modern simulation equipment - simulators, manikins, patient beds, first aid kits, defibrillators, etc. Instructors are certified according to international standards of the European and National Resuscitation Council, the American Heart Association, and the worldwide non-profit organization ITLS.

St. Petersburg training center was headed by Dr. Roman Mazurov, anesthesiologist and head of the CCM telemedicine center.

"We want to make international education standards available in the regions. We bring international expertise and experience from Europe, from the United States, and make it available in Russian. At the same time, we understand that people from all over Russia don't want to fly to far Tomsk, they will have a choice: a hub in Tomsk, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.

We are analyzing the demand for such education in the regions, and perhaps in the future we will open training centers somewhere else," said Sergey Antipov, CEO of CCM Group.

In December, the CCM opened a regional office in St. Petersburg, read about it in our previous article.
